The Victorian era of British history spanned Queen Victoria's reign from 20 June 1837 until her death, on 22 January 1901.
Pinchbeck is an alloy of copper and zinc that was invented circa 1720 by Christopher Pinchbeck. It resembled, but was much lighter than, gold.
This is an unusual and stylish necklace.
